Artwork

Many of the card designs include your recipient’s name on the front, thus the artwork is altered to include it. Sometimes the font settings will require minor adjustments to make your card look the best.

If the personalised message inside option is selected, then the cards inside sample text is modified to your instructions. For simple messages, a screenshot is sent for your information. More complex messages screenshots are sent for your approval of the artwork before printing. Don’t worry about a long message, as Stuart always finds a way to make it work, including printing on the left inside.

Now your artwork is ready to print.

Printing

The card design is printed onto 310gsm Canson Infinity Rag Photographic paper, which is a museum grade cardstock. It is stiff enough for all card sizes; regular A6, large A5 or the giant A4 and will stay standing for a long time.

The Epson Surecolor P800 printer uses high quality inks to produce dense vibrant colours. This makes the card a perfect keepsake for your recipient.

Making

To fold the card, it is first scored down the centre using a burnishing tool drawn along a ruler. It is then folded over so that all edges align. Lastly, the fold is burnished with the back of a spoon.

Packaging

The card and a quality recycled brown envelope are enclosed in a clear cellophane sleeve to protect the card from moisture.

Inside the packaging envelope, is a recycled cardboard insert to protect the card from bending during transit.

Now it is time to go to the post office to dispatch your order. Order before 2pm Melbourne time and your order is posted the same day. Otherwise it is posted next business day.
