Printing of my greeting cards has developed a lot since I first began making them in 2014.

My first printer was a Canon multifunction colour laser printer. This had severe limitations on the card thickness as it rolled the card when printing. It also often jammed which meant a lot of waste and frustration. To get the best results I had to print on photo paper and glue that to a 250gsm base card.

Next I upgraded to an Epson Artisan 1430 inkjet printer. I chose this printer for the A3 size capability along with archival quality printing. I still had to print the card image on photographic paper and glue it to the base card which could be 300gsm thickness.

Now I have upgraded again to an Epson Surecolor P800 inkjet printer. I chose this printer so I can print on very thick card and up to A2 size. NO MORE GLUING! I can now print on both sides of thick card with high quality images. After testing many papers, I’ve chosen Canson Rag Photographique as the media for my cards. This ultra smooth, pure white card is 310gsm 100% rag. This media exceeds museum standards reproducing exceptional vibrant colours which feature in many of my greeting card designs.

I’m extremely happy with the look and feel of the cards from this new printer. I hope you are too. Visit the shop to select and personalise your card. There are options to edit the name on the front, add a message inside, and choose your envelope colour. You can also select the card size up to A4! That makes every card I make unique.
